There are a number of root causes for this exodus, but most experts agree that the blockade, decades of economic crisis, crumbling public services, political repression and widespread disillusionment with the revolution have merged to become a “polycrisis”.

America’s policies are directly harming so many people world wide. Bill Clinton should have vetoed the Helms–Burton Act, instead this injustice was allowed to become US federal law. For all their talk about immigrants coming to America, they’ve only worked to make sure that immigrants cannot stay in their home countries.
